Deposits are made in USDG, the base stable asset on Robinhood Chain. The app guides you through the two signatures:
1

Approve

A standard token approval for the exact deposit amount — never an unlimited allowance. If a sufficient allowance already exists, this step is skipped.
2

Deposit

The tokens move into your vault and are valued at the current oracle price. That valuation sets your contributed capital — the baseline against which profit (and therefore any future fee) is measured. See High-water mark.
3

Planting (automatic)

The agent detects the deposit and plants your first positions in the pools your strategy selects. No action needed — you’ll see the vault move from idle to earning on the dashboard.

Things worth knowing

  • No deposit fee. Nothing is charged on the way in, ever.
  • Top-ups work the same way. Additional deposits raise your contributed capital at the price on the day they arrive; they never count as profit.
  • Deposits require a live price feed. If the oracle feed for a token is unavailable, deposits of that token are blocked until it recovers — a deliberate safety rule, because an unpriced deposit would corrupt your fee accounting. Exits are never blocked by this.
  • Minimum deposit is shown in the app before you sign.
You deposit a stable; the strategy holds volatile assets. Your exposure changes the moment planting begins — that’s the point, but be sure it’s what you want. See Price exposure.
