Glossary
The words we use, in plain language.
Agent — the autonomous operator that runs your strategy: planting ranges, rebalancing, harvesting rewards, rotating venues. It holds a narrow, revocable mandate on your vault and nothing more.
Vault — a smart contract deployed for you, owned by you. All capital and positions live inside it. One vault per depositor; nothing is pooled.
Owner — you. The only address that can move funds out of the vault.
Operator — the agent’s on-chain role. It may run the strategy inside the vault; it has no path to move funds anywhere but back into the vault or to you.
Strategy — the ruleset that decides what the vault holds and how it behaves: Bluechip, Volatile, or your own asset selection.
Position / range — liquidity placed in a pool between a lower and an upper price. While the market trades inside the range, the position earns; outside it, it doesn’t.
In range / out of range — whether the current price sits inside a position’s band. Out-of-range positions stop earning until the agent re-centres them.
Plant — the agent’s first act after a deposit: opening positions in the pools the strategy selects.
Tend — ongoing upkeep: re-centring ranges as price moves.
Harvest — claiming emissions and trading fees, converting them, and compounding them back into positions.
Rotate — moving liquidity between venues when yield migrates.
Emissions — reward tokens a venue pays to liquidity providers, on top of trading fees.
Venue — a decentralised exchange where liquidity is placed.
High-water mark — the value your withdrawals must exceed before any fee applies. Profit is taxed once, never twice. See High-water mark.
Fee gate — the single point where fees are charged: the moment value leaves your vault. Nothing is charged inside the vault, ever.
Price feed — the oracle price the vault uses to value deposits and withdrawals. If a feed goes stale, fees are waived, never guessed.
In-kind exit — withdrawing your positions as-is instead of converting to a single asset first.
Suspension — a safety state in which automation stops but exits keep working. Your funds are never trapped by a pause.
USDG — the base stable asset on Robinhood Chain and the default deposit and exit asset.
