# Build your own

> You pick the assets. The algorithms and the agent decide the rest.

Build-your-own is the same agent and the same machinery as Bluechip and Volatile — with one difference: **you choose which assets the strategy may hold.**

<Warning>You pick **assets only**. Venues, price ranges, rebalancing and rotation are decided by the algorithms and executed by the agent. There is no manual range-setting.</Warning>

## What you control

* The set of tokens the strategy is allowed to hold (any pair live on Robinhood Chain that passes the [universe screen](/strategies/how-pools-are-chosen)).

## What the agent controls

* Which pools and venues to use for those assets
* Range width and placement
* When to rebalance, harvest, and rotate

## Why it's built this way

Ranges and rotation timing are where discretionary LPs lose money. Letting you express *conviction* (which assets) while the agent handles *execution* keeps the strategy honest to the same rules that run Bluechip and Volatile.
